29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder. a) Worksite, 615 S.Wellwood Ave.,Lindenhurst, NY- Employees gained access to a roof using an extension ladder, extended approximately 25ft in length. The foot of the ladder was approximately 13ft away from the supporting structure; on or about 4/15/19. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
