29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:  (a) Circuits West, Incorporated, at 410 S Sunset Ave, Suite D, in Longmont, CO: On and preceding June 13, 2019, the employer did not provide a workplace as free as practicable of accumulations of lead.  Lead was a component of the solder used in the NTO and Avalon solder pot machines for the printed circuit boards.  Lead was detected in wipe samples taken from the NTO machine buttons, Avalon machine buttons, NTO machine front panel, the Avalon machine front panel, South doors to plating, Mens bathroom door, and Break room tabletop, south east side.  This condition potentially exposed employees to lead intoxication thorough dermal absorption and ingestion.

This condition potentially exposed employees to hazardous chemicals, including but, not limited to, laminates for PCB, aluminum, copper, tin, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, lead solder, formaldehyde, ammonium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, propylene glycol, stannous chloride, hydrochloric acid, sodium permanganate, copper sulfate, silver nitrate, potassium gold cyanide, and solvent naphtha.
