29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system:   (a)  Second Floor, Window Opening - On or about April 24, 2019, a construction laborer that was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15-feet while working adjacent to a window opening was not provided with fall protection. The window opening had a window sill that was only 29 inches above the floor.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
