Employees without fall protection were exposed to an approximate 20ft. fall hazard while engaged in roofing activities on a residential home, on or about 04/24/2019.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  a.) 11 Hayward Rd., Sparta NJ..  Employees engaged in construction activities were exposed to an approximate 20ft. fall hazard when utilizing a ladder that only extended approximately 16 inches above the landing surface accessed, on or about 04/24/2019.
