29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a) On or about 4/22/19, on site, for employees using the warm up mill to soften rubber materials, the employees were allowed to use other types of gloves other than "mill gloves". Mill gloves are specially made for this process to protect from heat and caught-in hazards. The employer did not ensure the right type of gloves are used with the warm up mill process.
