29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Jobsite, 8870 Duncan Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15237: Observed on or about May 7, 2019, employees installing duct work on rooftop unit #8 were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 40 feet to the ground below.
