Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On May 8, 2019 at 2700 College Avenue in Appleton, employees were walking/working from a working platform positioned inside the exterior perimeter parapet of a building without utilizing any form of fall protection.  The working height of the platform exposed employee(s) to the exterior perimeter fall hazard of fourteen feet to the concrete payment below.
