29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about May 14, 2019, employees installing shingles on the roof of a residential home, located at 10194 Village Lane, Brecksville, OH 44141 were exposed to a fall of 12.7 feet and the employer did not ensure they were protected though the use of fall protection systems/devices. J.R. Roofing & Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1388958, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 9, 2019, with respect to a workplace located near Belladon Court, Avon Lake, Ohio. J.R. Roofing & Siding, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1263110, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 25, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 7393 State Road, Parma, Ohio.
