29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s) (a) Shipping/Receiving Department, Front Charging Station: On or about May 20, 2019, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that the Doosan sit-down forklift #942 (Doosan Model BC25S-5, Serial No. FBA0H-1370-00942) was not taken out of service after the vehicle was determined to have damaged tires. (b) Shipping/Receiving Department, Receiving Charging Station: On or about May 20, 2019, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that the Doosan sit-down forklift #951 (Doosan Model BC25S-5, Serial No. FBA0H-1370-00951) was not taken out of service after the vehicle was determined to have damaged tires.
