29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazard of corrosive materials.    a) Near service entrance of 2 E. 61st St :  On or about May 28, 2019  An employee working with chemicals causing serious skin burns including sodium hydroxide were not provided with appropriate personal equipment   The DIAMOND CHEMICAL COMPANY INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1351835, citation number 1 item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/19/2019, with respect to a workplace located at UNION AVENUE & DUBOIS STREET East Rutherford, NJ 07073.
