29 CFR 1926.652(g)(2): Excavations of earth material to a level greater than 2 feet (.61m) below the bottom of a shield was permitted: a) 50 Peck Rd., Downingtown, PA 19335 - The employer allowed an employee to work in a trench approximately 12 feet deep while the bottom of the shield was approximately 4 feet above the bottom of the trench, thus exposing the employee to cave-in hazards.
