29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) Production Area- On June 6, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that electrical equipment, such as the Super Surge Alert relocatable powertap, was used in accordance with its listing and labeling. This powertap is intended for use with audio visual equipment and it was being used to power an industrial fan and work light. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item. GAM Enterprises Inc. dba GAM Gear, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1061852, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 901 E. Business Center Drive in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
