29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) On or about June 7, 2019, the employer did not ensure that machine specific energy control procedures were developed, documented, and utilized to control hazardous stored energy when employees performed maintenance on an optical sensor/ sight glass gasket on line 9 in the central clean in place room. An employee sustained burn injuries from the stored hot water/chemicals when opening the line.
