29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) In the course of installing insulated roof panels onto a new steel-frame commercial building under construction at 310 Route 22 West in Green Brook, employee(s) stood atop open-sided roof panels to release them from suction pads of the vacuum lifting equipment; exposed to a hazard of falling more than 15 ft to the ground below, due to lack of fall protection such as personal fall arrest system(s). Condition(s) were noted on or about 6/21/2019.
