29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone: On or about June 25, 2019 and at times prior thereto, employees operated an Extrema AX-18 Up Cut Saw and the employer did not ensure special hand tools were used when the machine guarding did not prevent employees from placing their hands into the point of operation. Employees retrieved small pieces of cut material with their hands into the point of operation, exposing the employees to amputation hazards.
