OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees when employees were exposed to slag and spatter from an unshielded welding operation:    a) On or about 007/01/19 in the shop area; employees were exposed to welding slag and spatter, where welding work was in process without protective screens. The protective shield and screens did not cover the welding work area.  ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1)of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees; in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards associated with unguarded parts:  a)  On or about 07/01/19, in the shop mezzanine, of the maintenance shop, the employer did not guard an open lamp socket to prevent employees from accidental contact with a live circuit of 110 volts.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
