29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    a. On or about June 27, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations on a roof, approximately twenty (20) feet above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.    Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.    Eka Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1345602, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 510 W. State Street, North Aurora, IL, 60542.    Ebro, Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1256198 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 16516 Split Rail Drive, Lockport, IL, 60441.    Ebro, Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1241574 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 23, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 19322 Woodfield Court, Tinley Park, IL, 60487. On or about June 27, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite, employees had been provided fall protection training, however, the employer failed to keep a written certification of record.
