29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii)  a- 301 - 327 Kramer Court, Florence NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 30 feet to the ground surface below, when walking/working from a residential structure's pitched roof without the use of fall protection.  The employer did not provide the employees with training to recognize and address the hazards associated with falls.  Condition observed on or about 07/02/19.   NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

New Homes Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1283699, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on03/30/18, with respect to a workplace located at 712 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
