29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. A program was not updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use. The employer did not include in the program the provisions of this section, as applicable:    a) 901 Lehigh Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 - Water Copper, Brass and Antimony Departments    The employer did not establish a written respiratory protection program to cover employees required to wear Powered Air Purifying Respirators, N95 dust masks and half face, elastomeric respirators while performing work duties.    Condition noted on or about 7/12/2019    WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training were met:     a) 901 Lehigh Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 - Water Copper and Brass Departments    Employees used hazardous chemicals including but not limited to copper shots and brass alloy both of which have the potential to release copper dusts during furnace operations. There was no written hazard communication program in place to address chemical hazards.
