29 CFR 1904.7(b)(3):  When an injury or illness involves one or more days away from work, you must record the injury or illness on the OSHA 300 Log with a check mark in the space for cases involving days away and an entry of the number of calendar days away from work in the number of days column. If the employee is out for an extended period of time, you must enter an estimate of the days that the employee will be away, and update the day count when the actual number of days is known.    On or about July 15, 2019, the employer did not correctly record the following work place injuries and illnesses on the OSHA  300 Log for the calendar year 2019 by entering the correct number of days away from work in Column K.    (a)  On July 3, 2019, an employee was hospitalized for complications from heat stress and the employer did not record the 6 days away from work in Column K.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET)
