29 CFR 1926.652(b): The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirement options of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), or (b)(4): a) Near Link Rd and Old Pueblo Rd, Fountain CO: On or about June 17, 2019, two workers were exposed to struck-by hazards while working in an excavation measuring 7-feet deep that was not properly configured to prevent cave-ins for Class B and Class C soil. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
