29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazard identified in the hazard assessment: On or about 7/18/2019, in the warehouse and outside area at 2505 Mill Center Parkway, Buford, GA: Employees adding water to the cells of the batteries and changing propane tanks on the powered industrial trucks did not use adequate hands and eye personal protective equipment. The employer failed to ensure all affected employees used the personal protective equipment determined during the hazard assessment.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about 7/18/2019, in the warehouse/production area at 2505 Mill Center Parkway, Buford, GA: Employees adding water to the cells of the battery in the powered industrial trucks with a water hose and were not located in the immediate area near the eyewash station were exposed to a corrosive chemical hazard. The employer failed to ensure the eyewash station was not obstructed by material and employees filled the batteries in the area and worn the appropriate personal protective equipment.
