29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report an in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours. a) Job Site, 118 Calico Point, Paupack, PA - Two (2) employees sustained work-related injuries on July 15, 2019 after a scaffold that the employees had been working from unexpectedly collapsed resulting in both employees being hospitalized in intensive care units with severe trauma. The hospitalizations were not reported by the employer to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours, on or about July 15, 2019. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.
