29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(16): Portable ladders with structural defects, such as, but not limited to, broken or missing rungs, cleats, or steps, broken or split rails, corroded components, or other faulty or defective components, were not either immediately marked in a manner that readily identifies them as defective, or tagged with "Do Not Use" or similar language, and were not withdrawn from service until repaired: a) 458 Center Street, Bethlehem, PA, Worksite - on or about October 11, 2019, a Werner D1220-2 20 foot aluminum extension ladder was in use to access the upper roof area of a structure, but the ladder was damaged in multiple locations along it's right side rails and on one its base section rungs. Webb Contracting Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(16) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1421585, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on September 4, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 357 Chilton Court, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Webb Contracting Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(16) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1382003, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on April 30, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Twin Ponds Road, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
