The tablesaw was used where the blade was exposed without a spreader or riving knife. These conditions exposed employees to amputation and struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a) Freelance Enterprises, LLC at 5151 Bannock St, Denver, CO 80216: On or before July 29, 2019 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that compressed air nozzles used for cleaning off equipment and employees in the shop was not reduced to less than 30 psi. The compressed air line was pressurized at approximately 90-120 psi. This condition exposed employees using the nozzles to a hazard of embolism in the blood stream and struck-by hazards.

(a) Freelance Enterprises, LLC at 5151 Bannock St, Denver, CO 80216: On or before July 29, 2019 the employer did not ensure secondary containers of chemicals were labelled correctly with the chemical content of the container and the hazard warnings of the chemical contained therein. Chemicals in the kitchen area were blended in metal, one gallon containers for specific jobs. These containers were stored on the shelf with only the job name. This condition exposed employees to skin, eye and respiratory hazards.

The flexible cord was connected to a junction that powered a hand-held sander. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards.
