29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. 2780 Horizon Ridge Court, Suwanee, GA - The employees were exposed to caught-between hazard. The machine operators and/or laborer employees were working in close proximity to the calendar roller while adjusting the folded over material/mat which was used as a test product. The light curtain which is a part of the machine, which serves as machine guarding was not installed to prevent employees extremities from coming in contact with the calendar roller, on or about August 1, 2019.
