29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501:  a) Padilla Framing LLC at 355 Orion Circle in Erie, CO 80514: On or before August 16, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards while constructing a residential property.  An employee was performing framing work on the top of a two story newly constructed house without the use of fall protection or a fall protection system.  The employee was attempting to install a truss system onto the residential home when he fell from the truss onto the ground.  This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet.

Employees were performing framing work without adequate fall protection training.  An employee sustained serious injuries when he fell approximately 13 feet from the second floor of a residential home to the ground.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet.
