29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a) On or about 8/20/19 at a renovation project located at 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, New York; an employee framing and sheathing a façade detail was using a retractable lanyard attached to his harnesses. The employee was working approximately 30 feet horizontally from his anchor point. The fall protection system was not rigged to prevent free falls more than 6 feet. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
