29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3): When work was performed near overhead lines, the lines were not deenergized and grounded, nor were other protective measures provided before work was started. a) Jobsite: 405 Colfax Rd, Philadelphia - Employees involved in the ground activities of a tree removal operation, and who were in close proximity to the tree, were exposed to electrical hazards as the tree was within 7 feet from an overhead 3 phase 4kv power line that was not de-energized, grounded, or otherwise protected prior to starting the tree removal operation. Observed on or about 8/13/19.
