29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about August 22, 2019, and at times prior thereto, at the Floor & Frame Department 208, the employer did not ensure that a conveyor driven by sprocket wheels and chains located less than seven (7) feet from the floor level was adequately guarded: a) The in-going nip points of a conveyor were not adequately guarded. b) Openings on the side of the conveyor having moving parts inside were not adequately guarded. This exposed employees amputations from caught in hazards.
