On or about August 21, 2019 at a residential construction site where employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet while performing roofing work without a fall protection system. Obed Mejia Espinoza was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1196857, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4403 Aversa Dr., Katy. 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. On or about August 21, 2019, at a residential construction site where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when using an extension ladder to access a roof without extending the ladder side rails at least 3 feet above the roof landing. Obed Mejia Espinoza was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1196857, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 4403 Aversa Dr., Katy.
