29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: (a) On or about August 24, 2019, the employer did not ensure that each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees of Campbell Beard Roofing, Inc., were exposed to fall hazards of up to 21 feet, while engaged in residential roofing activities. Employees were not trained in recognition of unsafe conditions.
