Sharpsburg GA. front and rear roof; On or about August 15, 2019 the employer exposed two employees to fall hazards while performing shingling operations 10 feet above ground level on an 8 in 12 pitch roof without fall protection being used.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder. (a) Lot 92, 125 Maple Leaf Rd. Sharpsburg GA.; On or about August 15, 2019 the employer allowed two employees to be exposed to a 10 foot fall hazard by allowing them to use a Werner aluminum extension ladder for access and egress to the roof of a 1 story residential dwelling. The ladder extended only 1 foot 6 inches above the roof landing and was not fastened at the top.
