29 CFR 1926.96: Safety-toe footwear for employees shall meet the requirements and specifications in American National Standard for Men's Safety-Toe Footwear, Z41.1-1967. a. On or about June 28, 2019, located at 743 E State Street, Space K, Athens, Ohio, an employee was observed removing jagged debris without the use of appropriate safety-shoe footwear. The employee had used athletic soft shoes, thereby was exposed to a struck by and foot crushing hazard.
