Jamestown Paint Company, Inc. dba Jamestown Coating Technologies; dry product storage - On or about 8/29/19, and a times prior thereto, the company did not have a mid rail installed on a stairway. The stairway had approximately 14 risers and led to an overhead storage area. B.) Jamestown Paint Company, Inc. dba Jamestown Coating Technologies; 2nd floor production- On or about 8/29/19, and a times prior thereto, the company did not have a mid rail installed on a stairway. The stairway had approximately 14 risers and led to the 2nd floor production area. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(iv)(d): Flammable liquids were not drawn from or transferred into vessels, containers, or portable tanks within a building only through a closed piping system, from safety cans, by means of a device drawing through the top, or from a container or portable tanks by gravity through an approved self-closing valve: A.) Jamestown Paint Company, Inc. dba Jamestown Coating Technologies; 2nd floor production - On or about 9/6/19, and at times prior thereto, flammable chemicals were not being dispensed with a self closing valve. Flammable chemicals without the self closing valve, included, but were not limited to, Triethylamine, 3. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
