29 CFR 1910.218(a)(2): Inspection and maintenance. Forge shop equipment was not in a condition to insure continued safe operation: On or about August 29, 2019 the employer failed to ensure that the Hydraulic press (hot work) OP-20 1200 ton was maintained in order to ensure safe operation. The press ram was identified as having a slow drift down and had not been repaired.
