29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). (a) Main Street, Cairo: On or about September 3, 2019 and times prior, employees entered an excavation measuring approximately 12 feet deep that had vertical walls of approximately 5 feet which was then slopped back with sections that were not at a 1:1 ratio.
