29 CFR 1910.179(l)(2)(i)(e): Where other cranes were in operation on the same runway, rail stops or other suitable means were not provided to prevent interference with the idle crane. On or about September 6, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that rail stops or other suitable means were in place to prevent nearby cranes from interfering with the idle crane that employees were conducting maintenance activities on from a scissor lift. Employees were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.179(l)(2)(i)(d): Before adjustments or repairs were started on a crane, warning or "out of order" signs were not placed to be visible from the floor on either the crane, the floor beneath the crane, or on the crane hook. On or about September 6, 2019, employees preforming maintenance on an overhead crane from a scissor lift approximately 24 feet above the floor were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards when the employer failed to ensure that sufficient warning signage was utilized on the crane, the floor and/or the crane hook.
