29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 1704 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 - The employer did not ensure that employees who were performing demolition activities on the roof of a building with unprotected edges up to approximately 22 feet above the lower level were protected by guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative measure, thus exposing the employees to fall from height hazards. This condition was observed on or about September 6, 2019.
