Two employees were operating the LoopCo slitter machine model # D 109-5082 serial # 194SW11457C and hydraulic table serial #1754T10652 on Line 1. Employee 1 was operating the controls while employee 2 used a wooden stick to pick up the ends of sheet metal coming from the slitter head to set on the hydraulic table. As the hydraulic table moved towards the slitter head, employee 2 was caught in between the slitter machine and hydraulic table, and was hospitalized.  The point of operation was not guarded.
