OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to vehicles falling from or shifting on automotive lifts: In the following instances, employees were exposed to potential hazards of falling and/or shifting vehicles: a) Garage - Two AMMCO auto lifts were not inspected annually. b) Garage - The Hunter alignment lift was not inspected annually. Western Auto Parts & Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard OSH Act of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1383921, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on May 3, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Main Street, Livermore Falls ME 04254.
