29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) On or about September 26, 2019; on the North side of the worksite, employees were utilizing a JLG 460SJ (S#10098630) to install vinyl siding on a multi level apartment complex without the use of fall protection systems. b) On or about September 26, 2019; on the South side of the worksite, employees were utilizing a Genie model S-40 (S#10257150) to install vinyl siding on a multi level apartment complex without the use of fall protection systems. Diversified Construction Contractors LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection #1018154, citation 1 item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 29, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 10533 West LA 70 Saint James, LA 70086.
