29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about October 4, 2019, at the worksite located at N96 W17655 County Line Rd., Germantown, WI, the employer did not ensure fall protection was used during the installation of insulation on a commercial building, thereby exposing workers to fall hazards. Keepsake Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1297351, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on April 3, 2018, with respect to a workplace location at 111 South Randall Road, Saint Charles, IL 60174.
