29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (Construction Reference 1926.103) At a worksite located at 751 E. 63rd St., Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were engaged in demolition activities which required the use of tight-fitting respirators. Employees engaged in these activities were observed with facial hair, that when worn with tight-fitting facepieces, came between the sealing surface and the face.

Employees were observed not wearing any means of head protection.
