29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about October 07, 2019, and at times prior thereto, flexible cords were used as a substitute for fixed wiring in the following instances: a) Chemical storage room - a flexible cord was used in lieu of permanent wiring to power a security camera in the work area. Employees were exposed to the hazard of electrical shock. b) Office hallway - a flexible cord was used in lieu of permanent wiring to power a HVAC furnace in the office building. Employees were exposed to the hazard of electrical shock.
