29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  On or about 09 October 2019, at a worksite located at 1976 IL-25, Oswego IL. 60573, employees who were removing and replacing a roof on a church, were not trained adequately to recognize the hazards of falling and the steps to mitigate those hazards. Adequate fall protection was being utilized during this work activity, exposing employees to falls in excess of 25 feet.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).  Aaron's Roofing, Siding and Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1110481, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/28/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5619 N 2nd St. Loves Park, IL 61111.  Aaron's Roofing, Siding and Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 984247, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 25, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 429 Gierz, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
