29 CFR 1926.452(w)(6)(i): Employee(s) were allowed to ride on scaffolds when the surface on which the scaffold was moved was not within 3 degrees of level, and/or not free of pits, holes, and obstructions: On or about October 2, 2019, during the installation of ceiling grid material at a job site located at 484 East Ave, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278; the employer did not ensure employees working on a baker scaffold to gain access to elevated working surfaces had positively locked the scaffolds wheels to ensure the scaffold did not move while work was being performed. The employees also rode the scaffold for one work location to another by "shimming back and forth" to cause the wheeled baker scaffold to move and or shift allowing the employee to gain access to different areas of work.
