29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) Kuna, ID: On or about October 9, 2019 and at times prior to, the exposing employer did not ensure his employee was tied off when working approximately 17 feet from the ground on shingle installation. NOTE: Abatement documentation and certification ARE required for this item. Perez Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1387488, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/19, with respect to a workplace located at 1408 North Garden Street, Boise, ID 83706.
