29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Scaffold platforms and walkways were not at least 18 inches wide: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing activities from the walking / working surface of a supported scaffold were exposed to fall hazards of approximately six feet nine inches to the ground below in that the scaffold platform was not at least 18 inches wide. The platforms used on the scaffold varied in size, between 8 and 12 inches wide.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing activities from the walking / working surface of a supported scaffold were exposed to fall hazards of approximately six feet nine inches to the ground below. Employees were exposed in that the legs did not bear a mud sill or base plate to give adequate foundation to support loads applied to the leg.

Employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet, to the inside of the structure, and 16 feet, to the exterior of the structure, while working between the trusses and walking the top plate in that fall protection was not provided and utilized.
