29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about February 13, 2026, employees of Fuentes Construction LLC were installing wooden roof trusses at a worksite located at 56 W O'Fallon Drive in O Fallon, Missouri. The employer did not ensure employees utilized fall protection systems while working at heights of 11.5 feet above the lower level. Employees were exposed to fall hazards when climbing onto, into trusses and on the wall top plate. Fuentes Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1802323, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on 5/20/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 731 E. Terra Cotta Avenue in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
